I do not provide medical advice. I do not diagnose cancer, determine treatment suitability, prescribe medication, or interpret symptoms as a clinician. I do not replace an oncologist, a doctor, a radiologist, a psychiatrist or any other appropriately qualified medical professional.
What I offer is lived experience, research-based information, signposting, patient navigation and practical support. My services are based on my own experience of navigating this pathway and what I have learned supporting hundreds of other people.
Qualified clinicians make all medical decisions
Professor Vogl and other qualified healthcare professionals determine what is clinically appropriate. A referral does not guarantee that Professor Vogl will recommend treatment. Suitability for scans, investigations or any treatment is determined by him and his medical team based on your individual circumstances.
I receive no commission or referral fee
Univ.-Prof. Dr. Dr. Thomas J. Vogl is a salaried professor and physician at University Hospital Frankfurt. I am not employed by, or affiliated with, Professor Vogl or the University Hospital.
I receive no commission, referral fee, payment, treatment discount, free treatment or other benefit in kind from Professor Vogl or University Hospital Frankfurt for referring or helping patients. Professor Vogl receives no financial benefit from the services I provide.
Any fee paid to me is solely for my own time, research, experience, administration, patient navigation, practical support and personalised one-to-one service.
No outcome is ever guaranteed
No cancer treatment is a magic bullet. Germany is not appropriate for every patient. My own outcome is mine, and it is never a promise that anybody else will experience the same thing. A second opinion cannot promise you a different outcome — it may simply reveal an option you did not know existed.
